sugarplum

Sugarplum came into my life as a rescue who almost didn’t get the chance to have one. She was found in Los Angeles and nearly euthanized because a shelter mistook her fear for paralysis. From day one, she’s reminded me to slow down and see things clearly, the same way someone finally saw her. She’s been by my side through a cross-country move and every chapter since, and having her means I never have a bad day alone.

Sugarplum is a total diva with a heart of gold. She’s sweet and affectionate, but she has standards: she will not potty in the rain, no exceptions. She’s also incredibly social, the kind of dog who makes friends with everyone she meets and never met a camera she doesn’t like.

Sugarplum has grown a real following online, landing brand collaborations along the way. She also teams up with other local dogs to raise money for rescues across South Florida, turning her own second chance into help for others. And her signature move: she’ll happily split an order of French fries with you, no questions asked.
